| Die Flagge des Australischen Hauptstadtterritoriums wurde 1993 eingeführt. Die Flagge ist, wie beim Nordterritorium, kein Blue Ensign. Sie zeigt zwei senkrechte Streifen in Blau und Gelb, wobei das Wappen des Territoriums in der Mitte des größeren gelben Feldes platziert ist. Blau und Gelb sind auch die Stadtfarben von Canberra. Das Wappen des Australischen Hauptstadtterritoriums wurde bereits im Jahr 1927 eingeführt. Es zeigt – auf einem blauen Schild – eine silberne Burg, darüber über Kreuz ein goldenes Schwert und ein goldener Streitkolben und darauf eine goldene Krone. Unterhalb der Burg eine weiße Rose. Schildhalter sind ein rotgeschnäbelter Schwarzschwan und ein gelbgeschnäbelter weißer Schwan. | The flag of the Australian Capital Territory was introduced in 1993. The coat of arms of the Australian Capital Territory was introduced in 1927. It shows – on a blue shield – a silver castle, above it crossed a golden sword and a golden mace and on it a golden crown. Below the castle a white rose. Shield holders are a red-billed black swan and a yellow-billed white swan. |
